📄 Terms & Conditions for "AI Note Taker: Notes Writer"

Welcome to AI Note Taker: Notes Writer ("App").
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") constitute a legal agreement between you ("User") and Yasmin Bazid ("we," "us," "our") governing your use of this App.
Please read these Terms carefully. By downloading or using the App, you acknowledge and agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please discontinue use immediately.
1. License Grant
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use this App on any iOS device you own or control.
You may not:
Reverse engineer, modify, or distribute the App
Copy the App’s content or algorithms
Use the App for illegal, harmful, or fraudulent purposes
This license is automatically terminated if you violate any part of these Terms.
2. App Functionality
AI Note Taker provides:
AI-powered note writing
OCR text scanner
Camera-based text recognition
Voice-to-text
Text translation
Cloud sync (via Firebase)
In-app subscriptions
Features may evolve as updates are released.
3. User Responsibilities
By using this App, you confirm that:
You are legally permitted to enter into this agreement
You will not misuse the AI or scanning features
All notes, images, audio, and text you provide belong to you or you have permission to use them
You are responsible for maintaining your device security.
4. Permissions
To function properly, the App may request the following permissions:
Camera: For text scanning and capturing notes
Microphone: For speech-to-text
Photos/Gallery: To import images for OCR
Network: For syncing, AI processing, and ads
Speech Recognition: For generating notes
ATT (App Tracking Transparency): Only for personalized ads via AdMob
You may revoke permissions anytime from iOS Settings, but some features may stop working.
5. In-App Purchases & Subscriptions
The App offers optional auto-renewable subscriptions for premium features.
By purchasing:
Your Apple ID will be charged
Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the renewal period
You may manage or cancel via Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions
We do not handle refunds. Apple manages all billing and refunds under App Store policy.
6. Advertisements
The free version of the App uses Google AdMob for advertising.
Ads may be personalized if you grant tracking permission (ATT)
If you deny tracking, non-personalized ads will be shown
AdMob may collect standard device-level non-personal data
Purchasing a subscription may remove ads (if included in your plan).
7. Data & Privacy
We do not collect personal information such as your name, phone number, or address.
Third-party services used:
Firebase – authentication, crash reports, cloud sync
Google Analytics – anonymized app usage metrics
AdMob – ads delivery
Apple – in-app purchases
All data handling is described in our Privacy Policy.
You agree not to upload sensitive or illegal content.
8. Content Ownership
All AI-generated or user-created notes belong to you.
However:
The App’s code, UI, design, trademarks, algorithms, and branding remain the exclusive property of Yasmin Bazid.
You may not copy, distribute, resell, or clone any part of the App.
9. Prohibited Use
You agree NOT to use the App for:
Illegal, harmful, abusive, or fraudulent activities
Reverse engineering or attempting to bypass security
Uploading harmful files, malware, or copyrighted content without permission
Sharing content that violates someone’s privacy or intellectual property
Violation may lead to immediate termination of access.
10. Third-Party Services
The App integrates the following:
Google Firebase
Google Analytics
Google AdMob
Apple Speech Framework
Apple In-App Purchase API
Each service operates under its own privacy and terms. We are not responsible for third-party policies.
11. Liability Disclaimer
The App is provided “as is” without any warranties.
We do not guarantee:
100% accuracy of OCR, AI text, translation, or speech recognition
Continuous availability or bug-free operation
Data recovery in case of device failure or user error
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss, damage, or data leakage resulting from use of the App.
12. Age Restrictions
This App is intended for users 13 years or older.
We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
13. Changes & Updates
We may update these Terms anytime.
Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
We may also change or discontinue features without prior notice.
14. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access if:
You violate the Terms
You misuse the App
Illegal activity is detected
Upon termination, you must stop using the App immediately.
